Four days of hands-on training in the pediatric airway — and, for the first time, a dedicated Postgraduate Course Day to begin them.
APIP is the only course in the world with this breadth of pediatric interventional curriculum: a full range of airway techniques, taught on models and in small groups, by faculty who use them in children.
A Postgraduate Course Day on 14 April, booked course by course, followed by the main APIP programme from 15 to 17 April.
Three parallel hands-on courses, booked individually: flexible bronchoscopy, rigid bronchoscopy, and interventions of the pediatric pleura.
The main course opens with the diagnostic groundwork: imaging for interventional planning, airway assessment, and tissue acquisition.
A full day at the hands-on stations: thermal and mechanical techniques, foreign body removal, and dilatation.
Stents, valves and combined endoscopic approaches, closing with complications and case discussion.
For the first time in the history of APIP, the meeting opens with a day given entirely to practical training — three parallel courses, small groups, working on models with experienced international faculty.

Intermediate to advanced
The curriculum covers the interventional range end to end, from cryotherapy and electrocautery to stents, valves and combined endoscopic repair.
