Postgraduate Course Day
Three parallel hands-on courses, booked individually: flexible bronchoscopy, rigid bronchoscopy, and interventions of the pediatric pleura.

Main Course — Opening
The main course opens with the diagnostic groundwork: imaging for interventional planning, airway assessment, and tissue acquisition.

Main Course — Interventions
A full day at the hands-on stations: thermal and mechanical techniques, foreign body removal, and dilatation.

Main Course — Advanced Structural Management
Stents, valves and combined endoscopic approaches, closing with complications and case discussion.

How the course is taught
APIP is a hands-on course before it is a lecture course. Participants work in small groups on models and dedicated training equipment, rotating through stations with close access to the faculty — the ratio is kept deliberately low, which is also why places are limited.
Lectures exist to frame the practical work: indication, patient selection, equipment and the handling of complications. The language of the course is English throughout.
